Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; combination with experience may be accepted.
• No specific years of experience required for this early career role; accounting background preferred.
• Ability to process day-to-day transactions (AP, AR, payroll) and prepare financial statements.
• Experience with account reconciliations (bank, credit cards, prepaid, AR, fixed assets, AP, accruals), and sales tax returns/1099s.

Responsibilities

• Client service across multiple clients, software applications, and various charts of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Coordinate and process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll activities.
• Complete financial statements and coordinate and finalize account reconciliations (banks, credit cards, prepaids, AR, fixed assets, AP, accruals).
• Complete complex reconciliations established by senior staff (Senior Associate/Assistant Controller/Controller/CFO).
• Complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and other client-specific items.
