An established industry player is seeking a Real Estate Business Partner to enhance operational efficiencies and customer experience. This role involves collaborating with senior leaders and acting as a liaison between various business units and the Global Real Estate and Facilities team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication skills, and a deep understanding of corporate real estate challenges. The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team provides expertise in real estate transactions, business partnering, occupancy planning, capital investment management, workplace strategy, and facility operations for Amazon’s global corporate office portfolio. This role is part of the Global Business Partnering (GBP) team, which aims to align real estate strategies with business objectives by serving as a bridge between each business unit and GREF. As a Manager on GREF’s Business Partnering team, you will act as a business partner (BP) for Worldwide Operations (WW Ops) and Worldwide Grocery, including Whole Foods, Amazon Go, and Amazon Fresh, collaborating with senior leaders across organizations.
This position functions as the primary liaison between these business units and GREF, focusing on three key areas: 1) identifying and reducing defects related to International Stores' corporate real estate to enhance scalability; 2) developing standardized real estate and workplace mechanisms that leverage data-driven insights for executive decision-making; and 3) increasing the influence of GREF’s products and programs within International Stores to improve customer experience and operational efficiencies.
The ideal candidate is an experienced business partner with a proven ability to build trust quickly in an entrepreneurial environment. They possess comprehensive knowledge of corporate real estate challenges, strong leadership and communication skills, and are comfortable engaging with C-suite executives. The candidate must be capable of deep analysis and delivering customer-centric solutions amidst ambiguity.
