The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team provides expertise in real estate transactions, business partnering, occupancy planning, capital investment management, workplace strategy, and facility operations for Amazon’s global corporate office portfolio. This role is part of the Global Business Partnering (GBP) team, which aims to align real estate strategies with business objectives by serving as a bridge between each business unit and GREF. As a Manager on GREF’s Business Partnering team, you will act as a business partner (BP) for Worldwide Operations (WW Ops) and Worldwide Grocery, including Whole Foods, Amazon Go, and Amazon Fresh, collaborating with senior leaders across organizations.

This position functions as the primary liaison between these business units and GREF, focusing on three key areas: 1) identifying and reducing defects related to International Stores' corporate real estate to enhance scalability; 2) developing standardized real estate and workplace mechanisms that leverage data-driven insights for executive decision-making; and 3) increasing the influence of GREF’s products and programs within International Stores to improve customer experience and operational efficiencies.

The ideal candidate is an experienced business partner with a proven ability to build trust quickly in an entrepreneurial environment. They possess comprehensive knowledge of corporate real estate challenges, strong leadership and communication skills, and are comfortable engaging with C-suite executives. The candidate must be capable of deep analysis and delivering customer-centric solutions amidst ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities
  • Drive strategic partnerships across enterprise teams (e.g., Finance, PXT, Public Relations, Legal, Security) and coordinate with GREF, Corporate FP&A, and Public Policy teams to support executive decision-making and trade-offs.
  • Develop and implement business planning systems, including reporting and data analytics, to monitor performance metrics and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Lead the creation of executive-level real estate presentations, recommendations, and business cases, ensuring alignment with GREF standards and fiduciary responsibilities such as cost savings.
  • Establish and manage operational rhythms, integrating into business planning processes and conducting regular reviews (WBR/MBR/QBR).
  • Provide strategic leadership for real estate initiatives, utilizing industry insights, best practices, and market analysis, while managing issue escalation processes.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience managing end-to-end program strategy and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience developing and implementing standardized business processes
  • Proven ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in process improvements
  • 1+ years of experience in commercial real estate
  • Bachelor's degree or PMP certification
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
