Qualifications

2+ years of legal experience in real estate finance or commercial real estate transactions.
Strong drafting and negotiation experience with loan documents.
Experience with acquisition, construction, mezzanine, mortgage financing and related real estate transactions.
Admission to the PA, NJ, and/or CT Bar is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate loan and financing documents for commercial real estate transactions.
Conduct due diligence in real estate acquisitions and financing transactions.
Handle transactions involving acquisition, construction, mezzanine, mortgage, and other real estate financing.

REAL ESTATE FINANCE ATTORNEY | 2+ Years' Experience

About the Job:

A well-established and highly respected full-service law firm is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to join its sophisticated Real Estate Finance practice.

The practice handles sophisticated transactions involving acquisition, construction, mezzanine, mortgage, and other commercial real estate financing, representing a range of institutional lenders, investors, borrowers and other real estate clients

Draft, review, and negotiate loan and financing documents for commercial real estate transactions
Conduct legal due diligence in connection with real estate acquisitions and financing transactions
Handle transactions involving acquisition, construction, mezzanine, mortgage, and other forms of real estate financing
Draft and negotiate commercial real estate purchase and sale agreements
Assist with structuring and documenting sophisticated real estate finance transactions
Work closely with senior attorneys, clients, lenders, borrowers, investors, and other transaction participants
Manage multiple transactions and deadlines while providing high-quality, responsive legal counsel
Gain exposure to sophisticated commercial real estate matters and develop deeper expertise in real estate finance

Qualifications:

2+ years of relevant legal experience
Experience in real estate finance and/or commercial real estate transactions
Strong experience drafting and negotiating loan documents
Experience with acquisition, construction, mezzanine, mortgage, or other commercial real estate financing is highly desirable
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial real estate purchase and sale agreements
Admission to the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and/or Connecticut Bar

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $155,000 - $210,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
