Job summary

Kriss Law, a growing real estate conveyancing firm, seeks an experienced South Carolina Real Estate Attorney licensed in good standing and residing in South Carolina to support residential and commercial transactions statewide. This role is commission-based with compensation earned per transaction/closing; no base salary.

The attorney will coordinate with operations, lenders, and clients, and represent buyers and sellers in closings with SC title standards and compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Active SC Bar license in good standing.
• Must reside in South Carolina.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate, title, conveyancing, or related law.
• Strong knowledge of South Carolina title standards, recording procedures, and settlement practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue title opinions
• Review title commitments and related closing documents
• Handle residential and commercial real estate closings, including purchases and refinances
• Provide legal representation for buyers and sellers in real estate transactions
• Advise on title clearance, curative matters, and South Carolina real estate compliance requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams, lenders, agents, and clients throughout the transaction process
• Serve as South Carolina counsel for real estate and conveyancing matters as needed

Job Description We are a growing multi-state real estate conveyancing firm seeking an experienced South Carolina Real Estate Attorney to support residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout the state. This opportunity is open only to attorneys who are licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina Bar and currently reside in South Carolina. The attorney in this role will work closely with our operations team and serve as the primary legal resource for South Carolina real estate matters.

• Flexible schedule based on transaction volume and client needs

• Remote within South Carolina, with availability for in-state closings and client meetings as needed

This is a commission-based opportunity. Compensation is earned per transaction/closing completed. No base salary is provided.
