About the Opportunity

A well-established and highly regarded real estate law firm is seeking a Residential Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its growing team in the Atlanta market. This position is ideal for an attorney with 1-2 years of experience who is looking to build a long-term career in residential real estate law while receiving significant mentorship, training, and professional development support.

The successful candidate will play a key role in residential real estate transactions, including conducting closings, reviewing and clearing title matters, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients, lenders, real estate professionals, buyers, and sellers. This is a highly visible position for an attorney who enjoys relationship-building, client interaction, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct residential real estate closings with professionalism, confidence, and exceptional client service.
  • Review and clear title issues to facilitate successful transactions.
  • Manage closing files and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist senior attorneys and office leadership with transaction-related matters.
  • Support closing activities across multiple office locations as needed.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for clients, real estate agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, and internal teams.
Client Service & Relationship Management
  • Deliver an outstanding client experience throughout the transaction process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, lenders, and industry professionals.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to client inquiries and concerns.
  • Create positive and memorable interactions that strengthen client loyalty.
  • Participate in networking, marketing, and business development events within the real estate community.
  • Represent the firm professionally as a brand ambassador in the market.
Legal Responsibilities
  • Analyze title and transaction-related matters and provide well-reasoned legal guidance.
  • Ensure adherence to all ethical and professional obligations.
  • Maintain compliance with state bar requirements, continuing legal education requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Negotiate and resolve legal issues on behalf of clients when appropriate.
  • Protect confidential client information and exercise sound judgment in sensitive matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents associated with residential real estate transactions.
Qualifications
Required
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership and good standing with the applicable State Bar.
  • 1-2 years of legal experience, preferably in residential real estate, real estate transactions, title matters, or related practice areas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
Preferred
  • Exposure to title review and title clearance matters.
  • Experience working directly with real estate agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers.
  • Prior involvement in client-facing business development or networking activities.
