Job summary

A well-established law firm in Chicago is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to join its growing team. The role handles commercial and residential real estate matters, including transactions, drafting and negotiating contracts, acquisitions and sales, leasing, and due diligence.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D., active Illinois license, 3+ years in real estate law, and demonstrated hands-on experience with real estate transactions.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Illinois.
• 3+ years of experience in real estate law.
• Hands-on experience in real estate transactions.
• Experience with commercial and/or residential real estate transactions, purchase and sale agreements, leasing, and contract negotiations.
• Knowledge of real estate financing, title review, and due diligence is a plus.
• Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
• Ability to independently manage client matters and provide effective legal solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $230,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
