• Strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple transactions, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Active license in good standing with the South Carolina or North Carolina State Bar.

Responsibilities

• Advise developers, investors, landlords, tenants on risks and opportunities.
• Identify and address legal, contractual, and regulatory risks.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions from inception through closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, deeds, corporate resolutions, and other transaction documents.
• Conduct and coordinate comprehensive due diligence, including title, surveys, zoning, land use, and environmental matters.
• Manage and oversee commercial real estate closings.
• Identify and resolve title issues and defects.
• Coordinate with lenders, brokers, escrow agents, and other transaction parties.
• Advise developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and other clients regarding transaction risks, opportunities, and legal requirements.
• Identify and address legal, contractual, and regulatory risks.
• Independently manage a high-volume caseload and multiple transactions.
• Collaborate with paralegals and other legal support staff to ensure efficient matter management.
