Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its Commercial Real Estate Practice Group in a hybrid role, with openings across multiple locations including Dallas, TX.

Candidates should have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and bar admissions in TX or other listed states, 3+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience, and a proven ability to handle acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in DE, FL, MD, NJ, NY, TX, or DC in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience.
• Experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial real estate purchases, sales, and financing transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, easements, and related transactional documents.
• Conduct and coordinate due diligence reviews, including analysis of title, survey, zoning, and other real estate‑related matters.
• Assist with transaction structuring, negotiations, closings, and post‑closing matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to provide comprehensive legal solutions for clients.
• Manage client communications and support the efficient execution of complex transactions.

Our client, a national AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its sophisticated Commercial Real Estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling complex real estate transactions and working alongside a collaborative team on high-profile matters involving acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions across a broad range of asset classes.

Candidate Profile

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Texas, or Washington, D.C., in good standing

• 3+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience
• Experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions
• Strong understanding of real estate transaction structures, due diligence, title and survey review, and closing processes
• Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and collaborative teamwork
• Prior law firm experience strongly preferred
