Job summary

HIA Legal is seeking a mid-to-senior Real Estate Associate in Philadelphia to handle sophisticated transactional real estate matters for a broad client base, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing and leasing.

You will advise on acquisitions, dispositions, financing and leases, draft and negotiate related documents, and collaborate with colleagues across corporate, finance and real estate teams. Strong drafting and client communication skills required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in transactional real estate.
• Strong drafting, research and communication skills.
• Experience at a leading law firm or strong boutique/mid-sized practice preferred.

The team handles sophisticated transactional real estate matters for a broad client base, with exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing and leasing.

The Role

• Advising on complex commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions
• Representing developers, investors, lenders and other stakeholders on real estate development projects

Candidate Profile

• 2+ years' experience in transactional real estate
• Strong experience in one or more of acquisitions/dispositions, development, financing or commercial leasing
• Experience at a leading law firm preferred, although strong candidates from boutique or mid-sized real estate practices will also be considered
• Strong drafting, research and communication skills
• Comfortable managing matters independently and taking ownership of transaction workstreams
• Commercially minded, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong academic and professional credentials
