Job summary

Simpson Judge USA in New York seeks a Real Estate Associate with 2-5 years of commercial real estate experience, focusing on leasing, to join a collaborative growing practice advising sophisticated clients on high-value transactions.

You will work with partners representing lenders, borrowers, developers and owners on leasing matters, with opportunities to manage transactions from inception to closing and contribute from day one.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
• 2–5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
• Strong drafting and negotiating leases.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial office, retail and industrial leases.
• Advise clients on lease amendments, assignments, subleases and related agreements.
• Assist with acquisitions, dispositions and financing transactions as they relate to leasing matters.
• Conduct due diligence and manage transactions from inception through closing.
• Collaborate directly with clients and opposing counsel while taking on meaningful responsibility from day one.

A highly regarded New York law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 2-5 years of commercial real estate experience, with a particular focus on commercial leasing. The Role

You'll work closely with experienced partners representing lenders, borrowers, developers, investors and owners on a variety of commercial real estate matters, with a strong emphasis on leasing transactions.

What We're Looking For
