Job Description

As Real Estate Transactions Associate (2nd-3rd year) varied responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic legal advice on varied real estate transactions, including: acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, developments and financing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other real estate-related documents.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments related to real estate assets.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless transactions.
  • Manage client relationships, working closely with Partners and Mid-Level Associates on client matters ensuring timely and accurate communication throughout.
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's real estate practice by mentoring Summer Associates.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Real Estate Associate should have demonstrable experience and skills:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive into it.
  • 2-3 years demonstrable real estate transactions experience within big law.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and financing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
  • A detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and precision in all legal documents.




Candidates must be based in New York/ Tri-State area, able to work from the Midtown office 4 days per week, and have US work authorization now and indefinitely.
