Michael Best & Friedrich LLP’s growing Real Estate Practice is looking to add a Real Estate Midlevel Associate to our Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, or any of our NC offices. The candidate should have a minimum of four years’ real estate or related transactional law experience.
Responsibilities and Experience
- Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and closing documents
- Title, survey and other due diligence review and management
- Real estate financing transactions
- Real estate acquisitions and dispositions
- Commercial lease transactions
- Zoning, land use, and condominiums
Qualifications
Knowledge Base & Education:
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
- Excellent academic credentials
- A minimum of four years’ real estate or related transactional law experience
- Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices as the position evolves and firm needs change
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAbility to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
- Ability to develop relationships and foster teamwork at all levels of the firm
Communication:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external clients, attorneys, and staff
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and discretion
