Job Overview

Michael Best & Friedrich LLP’s growing Real Estate Practice is looking to add a Real Estate Midlevel Associate to our Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, or any of our NC offices. The candidate should have a minimum of four years’ real estate or related transactional law experience.

Responsibilities and Experience
  • Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and closing documents
  • Title, survey and other due diligence review and management
  • Real estate financing transactions
  • Real estate acquisitions and dispositions
  • Commercial lease transactions
  • Zoning, land use, and condominiums
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • A minimum of four years’ real estate or related transactional law experience
  • Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices as the position evolves and firm needs change
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
  • Ability to develop relationships and foster teamwork at all levels of the firm
  • Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external clients, attorneys, and staff
