Job description

Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Denver, CO office for an Associate in our Real Estate Department. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in real estate transactional matters and will handle all stages of a transaction, from structuring and term sheet negotiation through diligence, title and survey review, approvals, closings, and post-closing agreements. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position at this time.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong research, writing skills, and academic record required.
• Team player; collaborative approach; highly motivated.
• Law firm experience preferred.
• Experience in acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, zoning, land use, construction, tax appeals and condemnation, easements, subdivision and land use law, common interest communities, and local government matters, is preferred.
• Experience in structuring and negotiating financing transactions, including real estate-secured loans, bridge and construction financings, joint ventures, capital partnerships, preferred equity arrangements and deferred purchase price structures, is preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
• The salary range for this position applies to Colorado. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $215,000 - $235,000.
