Job summary

Larry H. Miller Real Estate is seeking an Asset Management Intern to work directly with the Vice President on active management of our portfolio across commercial, multifamily, and industrial assets.

You will own workstreams, participate in owner, architect, and contractor meetings, and build reporting for leadership and investors. You should be sharp, self-directed, and curious about how real-estate assets generate value.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university in Accounting, Finance, or MBA program.
• Comfortable with Excel and financial analysis; able to articulate reasoning.
• Able to work independently and in meetings with owners, architects, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support investment management of existing assets, tracking performance against underwriting.
• Build and maintain financial models and pro formas; run sensitivities on assumptions driving value.
• Underwrite prospective projects and refresh underwriting on asset business plans.
• Research markets for rents, comps, absorption, and supply; turn research into strategic recommendations.
• Attend owner, architect, and contractor (OAC) meetings and follow through with action items.
