Job summary

Larry H. Miller Real Estate (LHMRE) is seeking an Asset Management Intern to work directly with the VP of Asset Management, owning workstreams across multifamily, commercial, and industrial portfolios in Sandy, Utah.

This is not a support role; you’ll attend owner, architect, and contractor meetings, build reporting for leadership and investors, and be accountable for asset management tasks. You will gain hands-on experience across the full scope of asset management, developing financial

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in Accounting, Finance, or MBA.
• Strong financial analysis and Excel skills; able to explain reasoning clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support investment management of existing assets, tracking performance against underwriting.
• Build and maintain financial models and pro formas; run sensitivity analysis.
• Underwrite prospective projects and refresh underwriting on asset business plans.
• Research markets for rents and supply; present written strategic recommendations.
• Manage TI projects, budgets, schedules, and change orders.
• Interface with property management teams and oversight of performance.
