Coda Search│Staffing is recruiting for an Asset Management Analyst at a market-leading private equity real estate firm in New York. The role suits someone with 1–2 years of experience who wants to build expertise in financial modeling, valuation, underwriting, and portfolio analysis.

You will conduct due diligence, develop and maintain complex financial models (DCF and scenarios), prepare materials for senior leadership and the Investment Committee, and support transactions from evaluation

Qualifications

1–2 years of relevant professional experience in advisory, consulting, research, valuations, private equity, real estate, or investment banking.
Strong academic background with a focus in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
Prior exposure to corporate development, M&A, or transaction advisory preferred.
Advanced financial modeling and technical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth due diligence on investment opportunities and portfolio assets.
Build and maintain financial models, including DCF and scenario analyses, to evaluate performance.
Prepare materials and present findings to senior leadership and Investment Committee.
Assist in managing all phases of transactions from evaluation through closing.
Draft and support investor reporting with financial projections and performance updates.
Provide analytical support for acquisition decisions through quantitative analysis.
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Marketing teams.
Monitor performance of past investments through back-testing and refining cash flow assumptions.
