Job summary

Berkadia is seeking a property finance analyst to review and analyze income and expense data, prepare loan submissions, and coordinate with borrowers and lenders throughout underwriting. You will compile market data, craft narrative reports, answer lender questions, and support mortgage bankers in marketing Berkadia's products and services.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze current, historical, and projected income and expense of a property with relevant information.
• Prepare analysis on property-level financials to articulate a story and generate questions for loan submissions.
• Prepare formal loan submissions including narratives and loan-structuring justifications.
• Answer lender questions and provide additional information as requested.
• Compile market and internal data and maintain databases of information.
• Interact with borrowers and lenders throughout the submission and underwriting process.
• Assist mortgage bankers in marketing company products and services.
• Correspond directly with mortgage bankers, borrowers and clients.
• Complete property inspections as needed.
• Assist in closings of loans as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze the current, historical, and projected income and expense of a property together with all additional and relevant information .

Prepare thoughtful analysis on property level financials in a way that allows you to articulate a story and come up with relevant questions to ask while creating loan submission packages.

Prepare a formal loan submission for lenders which includes writing a narrative report or pitch book, recommending, justifying and describing not only the loan request but also the loan structuring using relevant and supporting information.

Answer questions from lenders generated by the submission and research, analyze and provide additional information on request.

Compile market research data as well as internal data and maintaindatabases of information.

Interact with the borrower and lenders throughout the loan submission and underwriting process.

Assist mortgage bankers in their marketing of company products and services.

Correspond directly with mortgage bankers, borrowers and clients.

Complete property inspections as needed.

Assist in the closings of loans as needed.

Other duties as assigned.
