Job summary

Berkadia is seeking a detail-oriented Servicing professional in Ambler, PA. You will monitor borrower requests, prepare referrals with loan and investor requirements, and review trigger events to meet deadlines. The role involves cross-team collaboration to assess loan risk and ensure compliance with servicer guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, administer, or refer borrower requests to the appropriate Servicing unit or outside party based on loan documents and service agreements.
• Provide detailed referral requests, including loan documents and investor requirements for transactions needing lender consent (easements, partial releases, condemnations).
• Monitor and review loan-specific trigger events to meet deadlines.
• Assess risk on loans, including construction draws and servicing transfers; document requirements.
• Consult with manager and Berkadia personnel; follow up with borrowers to complete requests.
• Manage or escalate complex issues for the Client Relationship Manager.
• Monitor portfolio reports and ensure compliance with Berkadia policies and procedures.
• Address problem situations in conjunction with loan documents and investor guidelines.
• Review lease documents and enforce approval conditions.
• Develop personal technical skills through training and annual hours.
• Coordinate with functional units to ensure servicing-system compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, administer, or refer borrower requests to the appropriate Servicing functional business unit or outside party upon review of the applicable loan documents and service agreements.
• Provide detailed referral requests, including applicable loan documents and investor requirements on transactions requiring lender consent such as easements, partial releases, and condemnations.
• Monitor and review loan specific trigger events to ensure appropriate action is taken to meet required deadlines.
• Work with management on appropriate responses and decisions regarding risk assessment of loans including comprehensive reviews of construction draw requests, potential loan servicing transfers, including loan document and servicing agreement requirements.
• Consult with direct report, manager, and personnel within Berkadia, as necessary, and follow-up with borrower to ensure completion of requests and inquiries.
• Manage and/or escal complex issues that will include some decision making on the Client Relation Managers part.
• Monitor portfolio specific reports and adhere to established Berkadia policies and procedures for processing open items or issues.
• Confront problem situations in conjunction with assessment of loan documents and investor guidelines.
• Review written analysis of lease documents and enforce approval conditions.
• Develop personal technical skills by completing appropriate training courses and satisfying the annual required training hour minimum.
• Work with all applicable functional business units to ensure compliance with loan document requirements and borrower requests on all servicing systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
