Job summary

SVA is seeking a Supervisor to join our Real Estate Accounting team in Madison, WI. The role focuses on LIHTC and affordable housing clients, directing engagements, and mentoring junior staff to ensure accurate work papers and disclosures.

You will oversee client meetings, review financial statements, and assist with billing while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to SVA policies. Wisconsin-based role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in public accounting.
• CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of partnership taxation, affordable housing, LIHTC compliance, and real estate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and complete audits, reviews, returns, and/or compilations.
• Direct staff and review work papers for accuracy.
• Coordinate engagements with clients and manage timelines.
• Discuss financial statements and tax returns with clients and In-Charge.
