Job summary

Macdonald & Company has exclusive assignment for an Accounting & Operations Manager with a private real estate investment and development firm in Atlanta. This role blends everyday bookkeeping with broader operational, administrative, and transaction support.

You will manage AP/AR, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and asset-level reporting while coordinating with lenders, attorneys, title companies, and property managers.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of AP/AR, bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and financial recordkeeping.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Exposure to multiple real estate entities or investment administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, financial recordkeeping, and accounting administration.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, payment coordination, and expense tracking.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting, budgeting, and financial administration.
• Provide asset management and transaction support across acquisitions, dispositions, and reporting.
