Job summary

Tex Mixconcrete is seeking a Ready Mix Driver to operate concrete mixer trucks and deliver loads to various job sites in Texas. You will adhere to DOT regulations, verify load accuracy, and maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, communicating delivery instructions, and meeting customer expectations while complying with all safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Texas issued commercial driver's license (CDL A or B).
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• MVR must be cleared - No DUI's or DWI's in the last 5 years.
• No refusals or positive drug screen results in the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive concrete mixer to job sites and deliver loads according to DOT rules.
• Check loads and adjust to desired level while hauling concrete.
• Estimate slump of concrete and verify directions with plant personnel.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Communicate with supervisor/dispatch for delivery instructions and routes.
• Adhere to company, DOT and OSHA safety rules at all times.
