Job summary

Tex Mixconcrete is seeking a ready-mix driver to operate concrete mixer trucks and deliver loads to job sites across Texas. You will follow DOT regulations, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and communicate with dispatch to ensure accurate deliveries.

The role requires a valid Texas CDL (A or B), a clean MVR, and adherence to FMCSA rules. Physical work includes handling 35–50 lb chutes and working outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Texas CDL A or B.
• MVR must be clean with no DUI/DWI in last 5 years.
• Knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads.
• FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registration.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive truck to and from destinations per DOT rules.
• Check loads to ensure safe hauling and adjust as needed.
• Estimate slump and verify directions with plant personnel.
• Maintain communication with supervisor/dispatch for delivery instructions.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations and keep equipment clean.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and minor roadside repairs.
