Job summary

Alamo Concrete Products Company (ACP) seeks a Mixer Operator to safely operate a concrete mixer truck and deliver loads to commercial and residential sites across the Greater Central/South Texas region. You will follow safety policies and drive according to local laws.

Candidates must hold a Texas CDL class A or B, pass a drug screen, maintain a DOT medical card, and be able to work overtime, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas CDL - Class A or B and ability to pass an MVR check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• Able to follow directions from supervisors and management.
• Must be able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and early mornings, with varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck and deliver loads to job sites.
• Adhere to safety policies, traffic laws, and PPE protocols.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the ready-mix truck and report maintenance needs.
• Report incidents or safety concerns to supervisor.

Alamo Concrete Products Company, ACP, is headquartered in San Antonio, TX with 8 Divisions throughout the Greater Central/South Texas Region. ACP produces and delivers concrete and operates Aggregate Quarries that supply concrete, aggregate (rock) and sand to the batch plants.

Mixer Operators

The Mixer Operator is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck, delivering loads to commercial and residential work sites.

Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Abide by all federal, state and local traffic laws.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections.
• Follow all PPE protocols, including proper use, care, and timely replacement.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to correct job sites.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the ready-mix truck and report any required maintenance.
• Promptly report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Valid Texas CDL - Class A or B required and ability to pass an MVR verification.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• Able to follow directions and guidance from supervisors and management.
• Must be able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and early mornings, with daily schedules that may vary.
