Job summary

Alamo Concrete Products Company (ACP) is hiring a Mixer Operator to safely operate a concrete mixer truck and deliver loads to commercial and residential sites. The role requires strict adherence to safety policies and traffic laws, with the ability to work overtime and varied early shifts.

Requirements include a Texas CDL - Class A or B, ability to pass a drug screen, and a valid DOT medical card. ACP offers a 32-hour weekly guarantee, healthcare, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacations,

Qualifications

• Valid Texas CDL - Class A or B required and ability to pass an MVR verification.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• Able to follow directions and guidance from supervisors and management.
• Must be able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and early mornings with varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Abide by all federal, state and local traffic laws.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to correct job sites.
• Follow all PPE protocols, including proper use, care, and timely replacement.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the ready-mix truck and report any required maintenance.
• Promptly report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Alamo Concrete Products Company, ACP, is headquartered in San Antonio, TX with 8 Divisions throughout the Greater Central/South Texas Region. ACP produces and delivers concrete and operates Aggregate Quarries that supply concrete, aggregate (rock) and sand to the batch plants.

We are hiring Mixer Operators for our West Gulf Coast Division. The Mixer Operator is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck, delivering loads to commercial and residential work sites.

Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
