Job summary

HRM Concrete in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Ready Mix Loader Operator to load aggregates into concrete mixing trucks with front-end loaders and other heavy equipment. The role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and timely coordination with plant personnel.

You will be responsible for inspections, recording material loads, and performing routine equipment maintenance while supporting other plant operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of concrete production and aggregate materials is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to load aggregate materials into ready mix trucks.
• Ensure proper quantities of materials are loaded according to batch plant specifications.
• Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of materials loaded and inventory levels.
• Communicate with plant personnel and drivers to coordinate loading schedules.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Assist with other plant operations as needed.
