Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in the United States is seeking a Ready Mix Driver I to safely deliver concrete to customer job sites using a ready-mix truck. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and communicate with dispatch to coordinate deliveries.

Strong commitment to safety and customer service is required, along with the ability to document deliveries and work with plant personnel. A CDL or eligibility is required, and post-offer checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and follow traffic and safety regulations.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability and customer service excellence.
• Capability to perform vehicle inspections, basic equipment care, and routine documentation.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid CDL or ability to meet licensing requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites in a timely manner.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to maintain safe operating conditions.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel to coordinate deliveries.
• Operate delivery equipment and manage concrete placement while following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and uphold safety, quality, and customer service standards.
