Jump start your career as a Ready-Mix Driver with Duininck Concrete.

We are seeking drivers interested in working for our Portable Crew. These drivers deliver concrete to construction sites as a critical member of the team. Must be open to working at various job sites for extended periods (overnight travel required). We provide paid training on how to handle and deliver concrete safely and efficiently to customers. CDL preferred but not required (must be willing to obtain).

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate a ready-mix truck to transport and deliver concrete to construction sites.
• Follow DOT requirements and traffic laws.
• Adhere to all safety regulations.
• Follow instructions regarding the type and quantity of concrete to be delivered.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery updates or issues.
• Provide professional customer service at construction sites.
• Ensure proper handling and pouring of concrete to prevent spills or damage.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the truck interior and exterior.
• Assist with maintenance and cleaning duties at the plant during downtime.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to travel and work on-site for extended periods.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime.
• Class B CDL preferred but not required; willingness to obtain one.
• Ability or willingness to learn to operate and maintain a ready-mix truck.
• Comfort with using GPS.
• Willingness to assist wherever needed.

Physical requirements:

• Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders and stairs.
• Work in various weather conditions.
