Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Ready Mix truck driver to safely deliver concrete and other materials to customer job sites in New York. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and unload materials, and maintain equipment cleanliness while coordinating with dispatch and customers.

The position requires a valid CDL (Class A), a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Union benefits are provided.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate a Ready Mix truck to deliver and place construction materials at customer job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
• Load, transport, and unload materials efficiently while following all safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

What Are We Looking For

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the ability to operate a Ready Mix truck safely and effectively.
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and responsible equipment operation.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections, complete required paperwork, and follow operating procedures.
• Effective communication and customer service skills in a team-oriented environment.
• Capability to work independently, adapt to changing job site conditions, and manage delivery schedules.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

What We Offer

• $22-$32 per hour.
