Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Concrete Mixer Driver to safely operate a ready-mix truck and deliver to construction sites in the New York area. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and communicate with dispatch to ensure timely service.

The role requires a CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement, a strong commitment to safety and customer service, and availability for early mornings and weekends. It involves outdoor work and physical demands.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the truck and equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations at all times

What Are We Looking For

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement

• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
