Health System, located in Ft. Smith, Arkansas’ second largest city, is looking for a BC/BE Endocrinologist to meet the needs of more than 45 employed primary care physicians. This is a great opportunity for an immediate referral base and fast practice ramp-up.
•System had an employed Endocrinologist about a year ago who had built a busy practice in only 8 months, but a family illness outside the US required the doctor to return home.
•At the time of the doctor’s departure, new patients were scheduled several months out; a clear indication of the need (and potential!).
•More than 40 primary care physicians and a 6-person Nephrology department in the hospital-owned medical group are eager to support a well-trained, competent, and personable Endocrinologist.
•This is an outpatient-only practice; no call coverage required!
•Several office location options available, each with three exam rooms, procedure room and physician office.

The new Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine is slated to open in Ft. Smith. This complex is projected to have an annual financial impact to the region of $100 million, and will help address the future need for primary care physicians for the local area and across the nation.

Fort Smith, AR, True West Magazine’s top “True West Town” for 2013, offers historic sites and a scenic riverfront downtown, not to mention thriving retail and culinary treasures.
