Job summary

United Way Of Central Indiana seeks a ReadUP Coordinator (contract) to support successful implementation and daily operations of the ReadUP literacy program across Central Indiana schools. You will supervise volunteers, coordinate tutoring sessions, collect data, and help ensure a high-quality reading experience for students.

This role is August–May, 10–15 hours/week, with compensation at $35/hour for administrative duties and $70/hour for ReadUP session coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Education required; elementary experience preferred.
• Must be able to commit August–May (9 months).
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ReadUP operations at assigned school sites.
• Match volunteers with students and supervise sessions.
• Collect attendance and progress data for reporting.
• Coordinate celebrations and events for tutors and students.
• Build relationships with school staff and community partners.
