Job summary

Huntington Learning Center Ashburn is hiring in-person, part-time tutors who have expertise tutoring reading comprehension, writing skills, and SAT/ACT-level reading and grammar. A 4-year degree is required.

You will work 1-to-1 with students in the afternoon, evening, weekends, and summer, with flexible hours and no curriculum to create. Actual hourly rates will be based on experience, capabilities, and availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• Weekday and Weekend availability is a must.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students one-to-one in reading and writing.

Reading And Writing Tutors

• Huntington Learning Center is hiring in-person, part-time tutors who have expertise and experience tutoring reading comprehension, writing skills, as well as potential other Humanities and Social Sciences topics. We are also looking for SAT and ACT-level reading and grammar tutors.

Requirements Include

• 4-YEAR DEGREE IS REQUIRED: A bachelor's degree is the minimum degree-level requirement. Candidates without a degree should not apply.
• This is an IN-PERSON position: A candidate must be able to work in person. Candidates in remote locations should not apply.
• Certification/License a plus, but not required.
• Experience levels can vary - current and retired teachers are encouraged. Professionals with expertise in other subject areas are welcome to apply.
• Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.

The Opportunity
