A nonprofit organization devoted to education seeks a Reading Tutor for the 2025-26 school year in Minnetonka, MN. The role involves leading tutoring sessions and tracking student progress while providing essential reading assistance. Ideal candidates are dependable, 18+, and have a high school diploma. Compensation is $17.50 per hour with additional benefits, including free health insurance and education awards.

Join Reading Corps as a Reading Tutor and you’ll spend your days at a local school helping students improve their skills. We’ll train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way!
How does it work? Every school day you’ll see pairs of students for 20 minutes of reading practice. When your time together is up, you’ll help your students return to their classroom(s) and pick up your next pair for tutoring. You’ll repeat until all your students are served.
With the extra attention and support, incredible growth happens. As your students build their skills and confidence, you’ll be there to encourage, celebrate, and cheer them on!

Pay & Benefits
Full-time AmeriCorps members receive a paycheck (stipend) every two weeks. Compensation: $17.50 per hour served and additional perks!
