Ampact is seeking a Reading Tutor for the 2026-27 school year in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a tutor, you'll work directly with students to improve their reading skills through structured sessions in local schools, receiving essential training and support throughout.

This role requires dependability, basic computer skills, and fluency in English. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, focusing on student progress and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (e.g., email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions to ensure students receive support.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
• Meet with the school's on-site coach regularly.
• Share experiences with the community.
