Job summary

Brainspring Orton-Gillingham in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking dedicated tutors to support students of all abilities. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or be near completion, can tutor after school and/or on Saturdays, and will complete 30 hours of professional development in the Phonics First® curriculum. Tutors will receive free training valued at approximately $1,000 and earn $24-$27 per hour based on their qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or near completion of degree required, preferably in Education.
• Available to tutor after school and/or on Saturday.
• Able to attend all 30 hours of professional development in Phonics First® curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students of all ages and abilities using structured literacy methods.
• Complete professional development training for the Phonics First® program.
