Job summary

Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix is seeking a Classroom Teacher to join the Reading program within the Instruction & Accountability division for a 9-month year. The teacher will design instruction, maintain a positive learning environment, and collaborate with parents and colleagues to foster student learning.

Candidates must hold an Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate and a Bachelor's degree, show awareness of diverse student needs, and have EE.E.E.I.

Qualifications

• Possess an Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree.
• Have an awareness of student needs; i.e., at-risk, ethnic, limited English proficient, exceptional.
• Have an Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training or make themselves available to staff development.
