Job summary

Pottstown School District is seeking a Full-Time Reading Support Assistant for Reading District-wide positions in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Under the supervision of a Reading Specialist, you will assess students and provide small-group instruction to those needing reading support.

Starting immediately, candidates must complete required clearances (Acts 34, 114, and 151), a physical, and TB. Childcare experience is preferred; those without an associate degree or two years of postsecondary study

Job Description

Pottstown School District is looking for Full-Time Reading Support Assistants throughout the district.

Under the general supervision of a Reading Specialist, the Reading Support Assistant will perform assessments of students and plan/provide small-group instruction for students in need of reading support.

Acts 34, 114, and 151 Clearances, Physical, and TB must be presented before employment can commence.

Childcare Experience Preferred; Successful candidates without an associate degree or higher or at least two years of postsecondary study, will complete Credential Program through PaTTAN.
