Job summary

Qualifications

• Targeted help: Teach small groups or single students who need extra support.
• Skill building: Focus on decoding, phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
• Progress tracking: Monitor growth and adjust lesson plans over time.
• Testing: Administer reading and writing diagnostic tests.
• Identification: Find specific learning gaps early.
• Evaluation: Review data to shape school-wide reading goals.
• Mentoring: Model best practices for general education teachers.
• Training: Lead workshops on new reading methods and tools.
• Curriculum support: Help select research-based reading materials.

Responsibilities

• Direct Student Instruction as described in the HTML headings and bullets.
• Assessment and Data Analysis activities including administering diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
• Teacher Coaching and Leadership responsibilities such as mentoring and training workshops.
• Report to the Principal and collaborate with school leadership.
