Job description

We are looking for a licensed Reading Specialist to join our team at Arlington High School beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.

This position supports reading instruction for students in regular education as well as those with IEPs.

Responsibilities:

1. Support reading instruction for students in regular education and those with IEPs.

Qualifications:

1. Candidates should have experience with O/G or Wilson.
2. Knowledge of a range of reading intervention techniques.
3. Licensed by DESE as a Reading Specialist.

Arlington has a well-established new teacher induction program with mentoring throughout the school year.

Salary and Benefits are consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Arlington School Committee and the Arlington Education Association.

The Salary Schedule is on our website. Salary placement is based on Education and Experience.
