Job summary

MAB Community Services is looking for a Per Diem Reading Specialist to join our team in Brookline, MA. This role involves conducting assessments and providing literacy instruction to adolescents and young adults with traumatic brain injuries and behavioral health needs.

You will work in a mission-driven environment and ideally have a Massachusetts DESE Reading Specialist license and a Bachelor's Degree. A Master's is preferred. This position offers flexibility with 6–10 hours weekly, and work can be a mix of in-person and virtual.

Qualifications

Overview

MAB Community Services is seeking a Per Diem Reading Specialist to support adolescents and young adults with traumatic brain injuries, neurological challenges, and behavioral health needs at the Ivy Street School.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reading assessments
• Provide individualized and small-group literacy instruction
• Develop curriculum materials
• Support IEP goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support student success

Schedule

6–10 hours weekly, 2 days weekly in person preferred; other hours can be virtual.
