Job summary

Ashland School District 5 is seeking an Educational Assistant to support teaching staff by performing instructional tasks with students at TRAILS Outdoor School. You'll assist with reading and math lessons, supervise students, and maintain a safe learning environment.

Ideal candidates should have at least an Associate's degree, prior experience in a school setting is preferred, and must meet No Child Left Behind certification requirements. This position holds part-time hours at 3 hours daily.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
• Experience in a school setting or with children strongly preferred.
• Must meet No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with lesson assignments in reading and math.
• Monitor and supervise students during classroom and lunch.
