Job summary

Nebo School District is seeking an Instructional Technician – Lane 1. This role supports classroom teachers by administering tests, evaluating student progress, and implementing instructional activities to raise basic academic performance. Placement on the salary schedule is overseen by the district HR team and may involve lane/step changes.

Must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma. Hours are 5 per day, 5 days per week, 177 days per year, with no benefits.

Qualifications

• Adhere to safety practices.
• Operate standard office equipment including computers and pertinent software.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Administers tests for the purpose of assisting the teacher in evaluating students' progress.
• Administers student evaluations and progress assessments to provide information for teachers.
• Confers with teachers to assist in evaluating student progress and implementing objectives.
• Implements instructional programs and lesson plans to improve student academics.
• Provides direct instructional services to individuals or small groups under supervision.
• Responds to emergencies to resolve safety concerns and directs to appropriate personnel.
