Job summary

Nebo School District is seeking an Instructional Technician to support classroom instruction and student services. The role includes administering tests, assisting teachers with progress monitoring, and providing targeted instructional support to students in reading, language, and math.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; fingerprint/background clearance; and willingness to work 3.9 hours per day, five days a week, 177 days per year. The position offers no benefits.

Qualifications

• SKILLS: adhere to safety practices; operate standard office equipment and computer software; maintain accurate records.
• KNOWLEDGE: basic math using fractions/percentages/ratios; understand written procedures; grammar & punctuation; age-appropriate activities; health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Administers tests to monitor and assist teachers in evaluating progress.
• Administers student evaluations and progress assessments for teachers to tailor instruction.
• Confers with teachers and other school personnel to support student progress and goals.
• Implements instructional programs and lesson plans to help improve reading, language, and math.
• Provides direct instructional services to individuals or small groups under supervision.
• Responds to emergencies to resolve safety concerns and directs to appropriate personnel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient operations.
