Job summary

Unbound Academy in Arizona is hiring a Reading Interventionist to deliver virtual interventions for grades 3–8 and motivate students toward measurable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, literacy, or a related field.
• Reading intervention certification or endorsement.
• Specialized training in dyslexia intervention (or related structured literacy).
• At least 2 years delivering small-group or one‑to‑one reading interventions for grades 3–8.
• Experience supporting students with dyslexia or related reading difficulties.
• Ability to interpret progress monitoring data and use it to plan and adjust instruction.
• Strong ability to engage and manage students in a virtual setting through clear, motivating communication.
• Available to work in a hybrid capacity in Arizona as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

Reading Interventionist Key Responsibilities

Own outcomes for grades 3–8—measurable gains in fluency and comprehension—by delivering personalized virtual interventions and motivation support that builds confidence.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, literacy, or a closely related field
• Reading intervention certification or endorsement (e.g., Arizona Reading Specialist K-12 or equivalent state certification)
• Specialized training or certification in dyslexia intervention (or related structured literacy approaches)
• At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group or one‑one reading interventions for students in grades 3–8
• Experience supporting students with dyslexia or related reading difficulties
• Ability to interpret progress monitoring data and use it to plan and adjust instruction
• Strong ability to engage and manage students in a virtual setting through clear, motivating communication
• Available to work in a hybrid capacity in Arizona as needed.
