Job summary

The University of Virginia's McGuffey Reading Services seeks applicants for a temporary, part-time reading teacher/supervisor in our Reading Intervention Program. Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and/or supervise targeted reading intervention lessons for a small group of students.
• Collaborate with McGuffey’s clinical staff to develop an intensive instructional program.
• Deliver lessons focusing on phonemic awareness, phonics/decoding, spelling, fluency, comprehension, and writing.
• Communicate with families regarding student progress.
