Job summary

Parkway Schools seeks a Teaching Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year (one year, full time). Qualifications

• Copy of HS diploma, GED or HISET if substituting.
• DESE Substitute Certification is required before work.

Responsibilities

• Assist full‑time teachers and reinforce materials and lessons.
• Perform classroom, general, and clerical duties under a certified teacher.
• Support reading intervention and 1:1 or small group work with students.
• Supervise classrooms in emergencies and monitor student activities.
• Provide tutorial assistance and reinforce instruction as directed.
