Oak Tree Ward in Hillingdon Part of CNWL is looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Band 5 RMN to work on our Older Adults Mental Health In-patient ward based at The Woodland Centre. We can boast excellent learning opportunities and further development both in physical and mental health conditions.

We were also shortlisted for the 'coveted Nursing Times Team of the Year award in 2021'.

We care for older persons with enduring mental health conditions, long-term physical health conditions. Our dynamic MDT comprises of Medical Doctor; Nurses; OT's; Psychologies; Wellbeing support officers and collaboration with outside Agencies. This provides optimum opportunities for both newly qualified and experience RMN's with interest in older adult mental health services.

Our Trust values and quality improvement work is at the heart of the care we provide. We are currently leading on several quality improvement projects, to promote safety and better experiences for our patients. You can be part of this initiative.

We have also been certified in 'QNOAMHS: "Quality Network for Older Adults Mental Health Services"' currently recertifying this year.

Work as an advocate for our service users speaking up for their care, offering dignity and respect, also encouraging our services users to be a part of decision making and maintain independence.

Have excellent communication skills and ability to use IT skills. As our medication administration regime is now via computer software and also service user documentation is computerised.

Stay up-to-date on mandatory trainings and revalidation.
