Job summary

Stowe School is seeking reliable, professional, and safety-focused School Bus Drivers to support a new transport operation serving students travelling to and from Stowe School.

Join a dedicated team operating high-quality employer-branded vehicles, playing a vital role in the daily lives of young people. Morning and evening shifts (05:30–09:30 and 18:30–21:00) on routes 1–3 provide consistent hours and community impact.

Qualifications

• D1 Licence entitlement (clean license) required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to shifts.
• Strong local area knowledge.
• Commitment to safeguarding of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Perform morning and evening school runs with safety-focused driving.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks and pre-use inspections.
• Transport students to and from Stowe School along assigned routes.
• Return vehicles to base after completing routes.

Positions Available

Drivers

Split-shift

AM and PM driver positions available

Routes Available

• Route 1 – Aylesbury to Stowe School. Morning Service (6 days per week). Evening Service (5 days per week)
• Route 2 – Thame / Bicester to Stowe School. Morning Service (6 days per week). Evening Service (5 days per week)
• Route 3 – Chipping Norton to StoweSchool.Morning Service (6 days per week).Evening Service (5 days per week)

Driver Shifts

Morning Drivers

Start: 05:30

Finish: 09:30

Duties include:

• Vehicle safety and pre-use checks
• Route operation
• Vehicle cleaning and presentation

Evening Drivers

Start: 18:30

Finish: 21:00

Duties include:

• Vehicle safety checks
• Student transportation
• Returning vehicles to base following route completion

Please note: Pick-up and drop-off times have been tested and may be subject to minor operational adjustments.

Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate and is located in Stowe’s world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres.
