Psychiatric Liaison Nurse | East London NHS Foundation Trust

An opportunity has arisen for a nurse practitioner to join the well-established Mental Health Liaison and Psychological Medicine Team, which forms partof Newham’s Crisis Pathway. The team follows the principles of “Rapid Assessment Interface Discharge” which is a model of psychiatric liaisonserving the Newham University Hospital including the Emergency Department and inpatient wards.

This role will benefit a practitioner who is looking for a new challenge and to develop their clinical skills.

The post holder will provide specialist mental health input, support and conduct full mental health assessments & management plans for people

that are referred to our team from the Emergency Department and the general inpatient wards.
